What does the future hold for young people in Nigeria after the 2023 presidential elections? Obiora Ikoku reports.

For many young people in Nigeria, this year’s presidential poll offered another shot at change. After the #EndSARS mass revolt against police brutality was quashed in 2020, there was an exodus of young people from the country. The number of passport applications rose by 38 per cent within a year. And now, after the loss of the presidential candidate most popular with younger people, some are questioning their future in the country once again.
