Okonkwo Ifeoma is still haunted by memories of her elder brother, Ekene, who was brutally killed in May, 2023. The 38-year-old was the only son out of three siblings and had become the family breadwinner after their father’s death a decade earlier.
One night unidentified gunmen attacked the family’s home in Awomamma village, Imo state, and shot Ekene while he slept.
