Nineteen months into Israel’s genocide in Gaza, people remain glued to their screens. The barbarous violence has triggered an avalanche of emotions, from anger to heartbreak. The former stems from the sheer audacity of it all – how the systematic mass slaughter of a besieged population has been sanctioned, enabled, and wholeheartedly supported.
To Palestinians, the answer is simple: their existence has been relentlessly undermined, rendering them obvious targets and justifying atrocities.
