Matthew Newsome meets a social entrepreneur helping India's salt-workers out of the poverty trap.
Janakben squints as she looks up from the salt well she is raking. The salt crystal reflects the intense desert glare, while the water she stands in is thick with brine.
‘This is hard work,’ she says. ‘I have seen what this job can do to your health. My parents and their parents did this work and my children will also do this work. We have no other choice.’
