In this 2012 photo, Kamga Félix reflects on his future, following the announcement of a government ban on producing and selling non-biodegradable plastic packaging throughout Cameroon. Kamga was making his living as a street vendor selling plastic in Yaoundé Central Market. The ban came into force in April 2014.
I first became interested in photography in 1986, when I was at secondary school. The school encouraged me to set up a photography club. I continued my education and attended courses in photojournalism in Cameroon and abroad. I now collaborate with numerous magazines and national and international photo agencies.
