This is an extraordinary vérité doc about the precariousness of the American Dream and the values and beliefs of Middle America. It is set in Williston, North Dakota, where a fracking boom offers jobs but no housing – and you need to have a local address to get a job. Into the breach steps the town’s Lutheran pastor, allowing migrant jobseekers to stay overnight in the church car park and others to sleep in the church building.
