Communities across five London boroughs are breathing in highly polluted air – as much as two-and-a-half times the European legal limit.
Rather than wait passively for politicians to tackle the issue, two groups, No to Silvertown Tunnel (NTST) and Don’t Dump on Deptford’s Heart, have turned ‘citizen scientist’, monitoring nitrogen dioxide levels in the congested city.
