The latest concerns hinge around Monsanto’s EFSA-approved Genetically Modified (GM) maize and Round-up weedkiller, which in a recent study have been found to cause cancer and premature death.
In French scientist Professor Gilles-Eric Séralini’s research, rats were fed Monsanto’s Roundup-ready GM maize NK603, and doses of the top-selling weedkiller at levels permitted in drinking water.
