Flight to nowhere.
As Covid-19 continues to put the stoppers on flying, nostalgic would-be passengers are going to bizarre lengths to fill the gaping void left by air travel.
In Nigeria’s capital Abuja, resourceful restaurateurs are serving up airline food. Diners at Urban Air can sip flight-themed cocktails beside ‘windows illustrated with blue skies and puffy clouds’, according to a Reuters report. Some customers like to steal selfies with harried staff emerging from the cockpit-kitchen.
