New Internationalist’s featured world fiction titles
The One World project exists to convey the reader across continents, cultures and landscapes. Volume One was a highly acclaimed compilation of short stories from across the globe and continues to be a regular set text on literature courses around the world.
One World Two builds and expands on these ambitions. It is broader in its geographic and linguistic scope, featuring 21 writers drawn from every continent, as well as stories translated from Arabic and Portuguese.
The New Internationalist is an independent bi-monthly not-for-profit magazine that reports on action for global justice. We believe in putting people before profit, in climate justice, tax justice, equality, social responsibility and human rights for all.
New Internationalist acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We acknowledge that these lands were stolen and sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to Elders both past and present.
