Oslo is ahead of the curve once again with an ingenious solution for helping out endangered bee species.
The Norwegian capital has created a bee highway to provide safe passage for the struggling insects, with rooftop gardens and even cemeteries replanted with flowers to attract the pollinators. The ‘highway’ is made up of individual projects, mapped out on the website polli.no. With one in ten of Europe’s bees dying out, let’s hope this works.
